Nessy is a friendly and sweet 1.5-year-old hound/shepherd mix and weighs 51lbs. This guy is very eye catching with his unique coloring and endearing smile. Nessy has been an excellent house guest in his foster home so far. He seems to be housebroken and goes right into his crate to sleep the night away. He loves taking walks and is pretty good on a leash. He likes sniffing all the good smells, stopping to be pet by anyone that walks by and enjoys the occasional roll in the grass. Nessy has seemed to love the kids in his foster home, as well as dogs of all shapes and sizes. He would love a human buddy to play fetch with or a dog sibling to run around with in the backyard. Nessy would love a fenced yard, if possible, as he does enjoy some daily zoomies. He would also be just as happy with frequent walks; he’d even make a great running partner. His only fault is that he sometimes jumps up in an attempt to lick your face, but he is learning not to. He would be perfect for a family who enjoys the enthusiasm of a puppy without all of the initial training effort. He’s very affectionate and settles down nicely in the house. He is always down for cuddling up to watch a movie with his family.
