Breed: Bichson Frise Estimated DOB: 11/07/2021 Sex: Female - spayed Weight: 6 lbs Currently Up to date on all age appropriate vaccinationsThings To Know about Belle: - Rescued from a puppy mill situation in Mississippi- Belle is very timid and shy, having had little to no human interaction before coming into rescue. She is slowly adjusting to her new surroundings and will need a patient adopter to help her learn that the world can be a safe and loving place.- Still nervous about being picked up but gaining confidence and spending more time closer to the family as she settles into her foster home.- Handled meeting family members very well- was calm and accepted gentle pets when she was allowed to approach at her own pace.- Accepting treats from hands, which is great progress!- Starting to explore her foster home and find new places to snooze.- She LOVES napping in fuzzy blankets and snuggling with her lambchop toy.- Quiet and reserved but has a very gentle, loving spirit.- Low energy but gets excited around meal times, doing a little "dance" before her food is set down!- Working on crate training. Gets excited to see her crate, which is kept in the bedroom for more human interaction.- Currently working on housetraining and will require continued, consistent housetraining habits to establish a good routine. Doing well with positive reinforcement and going out on a schedule.- Dog friendly.
