Breed: Border Collie Mix Estimated DOB: 11/07/2021 Sex: Female - spayed Weight: 30 lbs Currently up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinationsThings to Know About Daisy: Rescued from Mississippi Settling in great; quickly feels at home and adapts to routines Timid with new people but warms up quickly with treats Loves love: enjoys pets, giving kisses, belly rubs, and snuggling close...especially in the evening after a day of playing Enjoys being outdoors, playing in the yard, sunbathing, and snuggling on the couch. Enjoys having her human around but also loves the company of another dog for playtime. Loves chasing balls and sticks (still working on retrieving)! Daisy would thrive in a home with a good-sized yard and space to run; loves being outside and gets excited for walks. Really enjoys hikes! Incredibly smart, a quick learner, and has mesmerizing two-tone eyes (one brown, one blue) Shows bravery even when unsure or uneasy. Knows "sit" and "crate"; working on "down" and "paw." Doing well with leash training- likes to explore new smells but responds well to redirection. Gets super excited when she sees the leash. Loves adventures, especially going for drives; will happily be your copilot! Crate trained; settles quickly and stays quiet Sleeps in her crate at night and does well when crated during the day Housebroken Has met 12-13-year-olds in her foster home and done well with kids in this age group. Dog friendly—Initially takes time to adjust to new dogs, but once settled, she’s playful and affectionate. Cat friendly - Coexisted nicely with the TLC resident cat.
