Breed: Shepherd Mix Estimated DOB: 06/17/2024 Sex: Male (neutered) Weight: 60-65 lbs Currently up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinationsThings to Know About Loredo: Rescued from Mississippi. Laredo spent his whole life with his more confident brother and is now learning how to have his own personality and thrive on his own. Timid at first but extremely loving and snuggly once he feels comfortable. Big fan of belly rubs! Beautiful, expressive eyes and adorable "ankle socks" on his front paws. Gentle and quiet - will silently appear next to his foster mom to be part of any activity going on. Enjoys romping and playing outside. Generally calm but has periods of zoomies in the yard - affectionally called the "Laredo Tornado." Good appetite and very treat motivated. Smart and eager to learn new things - can easily be trained with treats. Learning how to climb stairs and working on confidence as he passes through doorways. For some reason, this is frightening to him at first. Does very well in his crate - seems to like it as a "safe space." Entertains himself by playing with some of his toys or doing a puzzle feeder/lick mat before bed. Picked up on housetraining very quickly in his foster home. Fully housetrained on a schedule. Will need continued, consistent habits to maintain a good routine. Dog-friendly. Enjoys spending time with his foster siblings and seems to relax around other dogs.
