Breed: Terrier/Sheltie Mix Estimated DOB: 03/01/2019 Sex: Female - spayed Weight: 35 lbs Currently up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinationsThings to Know About Lydia: Returned to TLC after being adopted as a puppy in 2019 when her adopters could no longer care for her. Lydia’s fun personality is shining through more and more each day. Meeting new people makes her happy—she especially loves when her foster mom comes home from work. Very sweet, calm, and loyal. She loves following her foster mom around and curling up on the couch next to her. Does great on walks and enjoys exploring the outdoors. Very food motivated. Learning basic commands. A bit nervous during car rides but enjoys sitting in the front seat to see her surroundings. Crate trained but also sleeps soundly in her dog bed. She prefers her bed inside the crate and may need a treat to enter but settles well. Housebroken. Dog friendly—takes a moment to feel comfortable but now loves giving kisses and running around the yard playing with other dogs. Learning to play; chasing her foster sibling outside has been a new and exciting activity. She also has weekly playdates with two neighborhood dogs. Cat friendly—scared of cats.
