Breed: Lab/Pit Bull Mix Estimated DOB: 12/27/2022 Sex: Male - neutered Weight: 52 lbs Currently up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinationsThings to Know About Valentine: - This big-hearted boy was surrendered to the shelter at just 7 weeks old and spent nearly two years there before coming to TLC- Valentine is experiencing a lot of firsts: stairs, toys, lounging on the couch—he’s finally getting the chance to just be a dog.- Has adorable ears that sometimes flop over his head like a little hat - He’s learning how to interact with both humans and other dogs, growing more confident with each new person he meets.- He loves long walks, chew toys, and snuggling on the couch. His favorite toy is a stuffed bird, which he loves to throw in the air to “help” it flap its wings.- Valentine walks well on a leash and only pulls when he finds an irresistible scent to investigate. - Higher energy when playing with other dogs but mellow by himself.- Rides very well in the car.- He enjoys hanging out outside, soaking up the sun and taking in the sights and sounds around him.- Joyfully got the zoomies for the first time and went wild, even leaping over the couch - Known as “Valley boy,” he’s working on crate training and doing well with housebreaking when kept on a schedule.- Dog-friendly—Valentine would do well in a home with another dog who matches his playful nature.
