Meet Kai, a 10-month-old male Shepherd mix who’s full of energy, love, and adventure! At 40 lbs, he’s nearly full-grown and ready to dive into his next chapter with a family who can keep up with his high-energy lifestyle. Kai is house and crate trained and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and kids—making him an awesome addition to an active household. This boy loves to play and explore, so he’d thrive in a home with plenty of activity and space to burn off energy. While he’s still working on his manners, especially when it comes to jumping (he just can’t contain his excitement!), with a little patience, he’ll be the well-behaved companion you’ve been looking for. Kai’s ideal home would have other dogs to play with and older kids who can match his enthusiasm. He’s not been tested with cats yet, and does have a desire to playfully chase small outdoor animals. A lover of toys and brain games, Kai is ready to keep both your body and mind active. He’s neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and waiting for the right family to offer him the love and adventure he craves. Fostered in Harrisburg, PA, Kai is excited to meet you! If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
