Our longest resident of over a year and we have no idea why! Toby is looking for his forever home. This handsome 5-year-old 52 pound Shepherd mix has captured our hearts with his enchanting personality and infectious energy. Toby has been professionally trained by Gypsy K9 Solutions and his off-leash recall is top-notch. He loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors on hikes and playing endless rounds of fetch. His radar-like ears are always on high alert, taking in all the sights, smells, and sounds of the world around him. He's truly a great adventure dog and the perfect companion for any outdoor enthusiast. Toby is affectionate with his people, but not overly so. His intelligence adds to his charm – he's always eager to learn and please his human friends. He would thrive in an active family with children over the toddler age who can respect his boundaries. Although cats are an unknown territory for Toby, he gets along with other dogs who are fairly chill and goofy. Our Toby has impeccable manners and is house and crate trained. But he's also earned the privilege of being trusted outside of his crate – a testament to his good behavior. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, as well as a heartworm survivor! This boy has been fully treated for some time and now tests negative. Toby has been waiting patiently for his forever home, and we know that the perfect family is out there just waiting to meet him. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
