She does enjoy bones and stuffies to nibble on and treats of any kind. Rose Petal is good at: staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, cuddling, following commands Ideal home: no children, quiet environment, a fenced yard Training Needs: socialization with people, socialization with dogs Health issues: Meet Rose Petal Oh, Miss Rosie Rue!! This cuddle bug enjoys spending every minute of her day with her people. She may be stand offish at first, but man once she loves you…all bets are off…she will be yours forever! Rosie has been hanging with her foster mom for a bit now and we can't tell you how much she has come out of her shell. When Rose Petal came to ABR she was very scared, very standoffish, VERY UNSURE. Most of that has dissipated and her goofy, silly side has really come out. Found as a stray in Philadelphia, Rosie's past is completely unknown. This does mean she has some quirks. The biggest one is her anxiety of people and dogs she does not know. This has led to Rosie being muzzle trained. She has really adapted to wearing a muzzle, and she still looks stinking adorable. The Rosie Rue has made tremendous strides while wearing her muzzle. She and her foster mom spent a week away from their home kid/dog/house sitting. During this week Rosie met a former ABR alum and was able to co-exist with him while wearing her muzzle. She met new people and LOVED the attention. With people, she will be able to be without a muzzle after the initial meeting. For Rosie, it's all about gaining her trust. Once that trust has been gained, you will have acquired a grade A cuddler!
