Female Dog,
Unknown Breed (Short Coat)
Description:
Meet Kona! This soon-to-be six year old sweetie is one of the most loving, snuggly, smart, and fun dogs around. Her owners unfortunately had to make the very difficult decision to return her to PAWS after the birth of their child last year, who Kona ultimately struggled to adjust to. However, she is described as "the most loving, snuggly, and fun dog there is" and as a very loyal friend to all. Everyone who meets Kona comes to love her almost instantly! Kona is extremely people-oriented, and loves to be right by your side whenever she can. She has also lived well with another dog and seems like she could do well with continuing to have canine companionship in her life, but she is looking for a cat-free home. At times she can be reactive on walks when seeing other dogs (but this is mainly just when she is on-leash), or if the mood strikes to try and chase some squirrels, bunnies, or stray cats hanging around. Otherwise she spends most of her time playing with her toys on her own or trying to initiate some tug of war, or being tucked under a blanket for a good nap. We just know that whoever ends up adopting Kona is going to be oh so lucky, so we'd love to make an introduction if she seems like she could be just the gal you've been waiting for!
