Meet Sally – A Sweet and Shy Soul Who Just Needs Time and LoveSally is believed to be a 2-year-old 50lb plott hound mix. Though you can see the remnants of a broken spirit in her eyes, Sally is making incredible progress every day. She is a gentle and calm companion looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to heal and grow.Sally sleeps comfortably in her crate at night and enjoys taking naps there during the day. She appears to be house trained, with no accidents so far, and is great on a leash.Sally is good with kids over 12. She is a bit nervous about sudden movements and can be shy when it comes to being petted too quickly, so she may be a bit overwhelmed around younger children. Sally is friendly with other dogs and enjoys spending time with her foster brothers, though she prefers to play for short bursts before retreating to rest. We're not sure how she feels about cats yet.Sally is a very special girl who will thrive in a home where she can feel safe and loved. Another confident canine companion in the home is ideal to help her continue building her own confidence.
