Age: approx 3 years old Weight: 9 lbs My adoption fee is $525 which includes transportation charges to the Northeast. Hooray! Alfie's in Rhode Island! This little dude has made the trip from Texas and we are thrilled to have him in foster care in Rhode Island! Alfie is a delight for anyone who loves a small breed dog. He is an 8 pound, three year old Chihuahua mix with long legs and he is so incredibly light on his feet that we think he may be part gazelle! Alfie has uniquely beautiful eyes and the cutest "curly fry" tail you will ever see! He can dance around on his back feet for as long as it takes you to dispense a treat! Alfie enjoys human touch and being held in the crook of your arm. He is also a champion leash walker and enjoys getting out to sniff and explore. Another favorite activity is chewing on treats on a cushy bed. Alfie is terrific in his crate and often chooses to snooze in it. His housetraining has been outstanding in his foster home so far. We don't know if Alfie has lived with cats, but he seems uninterested in the ones in his current foster home. Alfie is coexisting with other dogs nicely in his foster home but is occasionally bossy with them. Someone has to be the leader, right? Little Alfie will be SUCH A FUN DOG for someone!
