Description:
If not adopted beforehand, this dog will attend the Super Dog Adoption Event on Saturday, November 2nd at Clark Farms in Matunuck, RI. Learn more about this event and sign up for 10am Early Entry HERE Age: 3 months (as of 11/1/2024) Weight: 18.6 lbs (as of 10/30/2024) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Introducing the Botanical puppies! We have three young ladies, Daisy, Fern, and Pepper, and one handsome young gentleman, Barley. They are all eager to find their new homes. We think these pups may be Beagle/Lab mix, but your guess is as good as ours. The Botanical pups have been living in an active foster home with an adult couple and other large and small dogs. They are interested in going new places, are calm when crated in the car, and like meeting new people. Pepper's foster family reports that she is an affectionate and outgoing sweetie who is intelligent, eager to please and even-tempered. She loves playing bitey-mouth and chase with her puppy friends. Pepper loves squeaky toys, chew toys, and playgroup, but also slows down for some cuddling on the couch with a good movie (you can watch the movie, she’ll probably sleep enjoying her puppy dreams). Being so young, Pepper would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; she has so much to learn! She'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. It’s lots of fun, too! Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it! If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up Pepper, then fill out an application today! Wet puppy kisses and warm, furry snuggles are awaiting the right family! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
