Male Dog, Pit Bull Terrier

Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.Meet Jackson! Jackson is a 4 year old male bully breed. He has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccinations. He weighs approximately 65 lbs. He has had training and knows his basic commands, and the expectation is that whoever he goes to will continue his training. He is agile and likes to go to “place.” He LOVES the water hose, a structured walk and a good belly rub. He is learning how to just be a dog and play! He is the sweetest, most loving dog ever. He does well with other confident dogs with proper introductions, and is very playful. A good fit for Jackson would be a person/family who is dog savvy and can provide structure. Recommend no super young kids, as he is a big boy who doesn’t quite know his own strength. He would do fine with older kids. A crate, preventatives, and some basic necessities will be provided. I am even willing to pay for extra training for him and his new owner. Jackson is amazing, just SO smart, and deserves a home where he can thrive with people who love him. If you could open your heart and home for this stunning boy, contact Anne-Marie on 919 608 9314 ASAP!!To apply to adopt, click on https://www.arcadiarescue.org/application. If the pet you applied for is no longer available, www.arcadiarescue.org/adopt to see all of our available pets. Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel. If you can foster, go to https://www.arcadiarescue.org/foster and fill out a foster application. Thank you!
