The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.**URGENT - Foster/Adopter Needed ASAP!!** Meet Lorena! A good Samaritan found this precious girl and their puppies after they had been dumped, just tossed aside like a piece of garbage, just like many, many, healthy pups in TX. Thankfully they were not taken to the overcrowded kill shelter and the GS offered to keep them safe until our rescue could drive from NC to TX to get them. Along with other healthy pups we were able to get to in time, to save them from euthanasia. The puppies are now up for adoption. There are 8 puppies in total, 5 males/3 females. All healthy, 12 wks old and we aren't entirely sure of the father's breed! The puppies have already received their age appropriate rounds of vaccines. Mama Lorena is a gorgeous GSD Mix also up for adoption. Lorena has been let down by humans alot and has been through so much, forced to live in deplorable conditions outside. Yet she is incredibly sweet and when our experienced volunteers were able to get her to safety, they added she is one of the sweetest girls they come across. How can you not love any of these precious pups?!! We couldn't get the puppies to sit still long enough to get an in focus photo!!! This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel.
