Description:
The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters. This is the most happy-go-lucky dog you’ll ever meet. She always has a huge smile on her face and is so happy that not just her tail wags, her whole body wags! Mocha was saved from a NC shelter where she was at risk of euth due to space and the staff was begging for rescues to please save their “tester dog” (that’s how great she is with other dogs). This amazing girl is 2.5 y/o and about 55 lbs. She is bouncy, playful, active, and crate trained! She’s not a big barker either and she’s so well behaved in the crate (not destructive, and never had an accident). She LOVES other dogs of all sizes and would probably be OK around cats as well just because of her very sweet spirit and nature. A home without very young children would probably be best as she will easily bowl them over because she is strong, energetic and powerful (and not in the least bit graceful lol). Mocha definitely MUST go to a home with *at least* one other highly social/playful dog (preferably multiple) as she is at her happiest when she is part of a playful, easy-going pack.To apply to adopt, click on https://www.arcadiarescue.org/application. If the pet you applied for is no longer available, www.arcadiarescue.org/adopt to see all of our available pets. Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel. If you can foster, go to https://www.arcadiarescue.org/foster and fill out a foster application. Thank you!
