The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.Meet Nemesis! This handsome young pup named Nemesis was recently dropped off at a rural NC shelter and scheduled for euthanasia. Our rescue pulled him on his last day and is seeking a forever home to give him a second chance at life. Nemesis is a very happy and healthy 1.5 year old pup. He doesn't know a stranger and bonds with new people very quickly. He is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and will need to be neutered before adoption. Nemesis is active & playful, loves to go for walks. He is house and crate trained. He would do great with an individual owner or couple, without children in the home, that wants to spend time with their only pet. He is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle on the couch. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel.
