The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.Meet Nemo! This handsome young pup named Nemo was recently dropped off at a rural NC shelter and scheduled for euthanasia. Our rescue pulled him on his last day and is seeking a forever home to give him a second chance at life. Nemo is a very happy and healthy 2.5 year old pup. He is a high energy pup and will need a strong handler that is an experienced dog owner. He is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and will need to be neutered before adoption. Nemo is active & playful, loves to go for walks. He is house and crate trained. He would do great with an individual owner or couple, without children in the home, that wants to spend time with their only pet. Nemo needs to be the ONLY PET in the home due to his high energy and he can be very selective with other dogs. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available.
