Description:

The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.**URGENT - Senior Bonded Pair dumped at shelter, need home ASAP!! This beautiful bonded pair found themselves dumped, by their 'owner', at an overcrowded kill shelter in NC through no fault of their own. Nat is 11 yrs old, a senior!!!! An older gentleman who should be in a warm loving home, instead he's in a cold kennel. Thankfully he has his younger bonded sister with him. Ginger is 6 Yrs old, weighs about 50 lbs and is trying to keep her older brother's spirits up. These gorgeous pups have started to understand their owner is not coming back for them ever, as its been over 40 days! We can't even imagine the loss and anguish they are feeling just now. Both pups have also been stuck in the kennel for all 40 days, no walks or anything as the shelter has been closed for 6 weeks due to an outbreak of canine flu. NAT is a very calm good natured older sweetheart, all 65 lbs of him! He walks well on leash and is good with kids and dogs. GINGER is a little smaller, a truly sweet 50 lb pup! And like her brother, she walks well on a leash, just loves people, other dogs and kids. These precious pups need to be adopted out together. If you could open your heart and home for NAT and GINGER, contact Julie on 919 624 0059 immediately. The sooner we can get them out the better. Both are up to date on their vaccines and have been spayed/neutered.To apply to adopt, click on https://www.arcadiarescue.org/application. If the pet you applied for is no longer available, www.arcadiarescue.org/adopt to see all of our available pets. Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel. If you can foster, go to https://www.arcadiarescue.org/foster and fill out a foster application. Thank you!
