Description:
The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.URGENT Foster/Adopter Needed - Bonded Pair Immediately!!*** Meet Comet and Shep! Comet is a white GSD, approx 2 yrs old and weighs about 60 lbs. He is on the skinnier side, so a slow gradual weight increase would definitely benefit Comet. Shep is a female black, red and tan GSD, she is about 4 yrs old and is right on target with her weight at 75 lbs. Comet and Shep are a bonded pair and need to be adopted out together. They do not understand why their owner dropped them off at a shelter, an overcrowded kill shelter at that and never came back. And quite frankly neither do we. Middle aged dogs certainly are much harder to be adopted out of shelters and certainly bonded pairs are next to impossible. The pups are survivors because they've had each other to be there for one another. If you could open your heart and home for this beautuful bonded pair, even just to foster, contact Shannon immediately on 919 442 7720.To apply to adopt, click on https://www.arcadiarescue.org/application. If the pet you applied for is no longer available, www.arcadiarescue.org/adopt to see all of our available pets. Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel. If you can foster, go to https://www.arcadiarescue.org/foster and fill out a foster application. Thank you!
