Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Adoption Fee: $599 Fence needed? Yes, Samson requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Samson is a happy-go-lucky guy who loves life. He enjoys the company of calmer dogs and, as for cats, he’s generally indifferent as long as they don’t bother him. This big boy is not suitable for an apartment but will do well in your house. Samson does not care if his adopter is a single person, couple, or a family. He is simply looking for an adopter who will love him, play with him, and include him on as many of your outings as possible. Samson doesn't have a preference for whether his adopter is a single person, couple, or family—he’s simply looking for someone who will love him, spend time playing with him, and include him in as many adventures as possible. Whether it's a walk in the neighborhood, a hike in the woods, or a trip to the mountains or beach, Samson is ready to be your adventure buddy. And after all the fun, he’d love to stop for a pup cup as a special treat! What is my personality like? Meet Samson, a well-mannered and lovable boy in search of his forever home. Samson came to us as a breeder release, but unlike many dogs from similar situations, he is friendly, happy, and eager to live life to the fullest. This big guy is not suited for apartment living, but he'll thrive in a house where he has room to play and enjoy life. This happy boy walks well on a leash but would benefit from some refresher training with his new family. He’ll also need to learn basic commands. Samson is crate-trained and doesn’t bark excessively. He enjoys relaxing in his crate and would love to have a space in his new home to call his own. With regular potty breaks, he’s great about keeping your home clean—just be sure to take him out before bedtime! Samson gets along well with calmer dogs and would be thrilled to have a well-matched dog buddy in his forever home. He’s not fond of hyperactive dogs, so he’s best suited for a home with a more relaxed canine companion. A fenced-in backyard would be perfect for him to play and bond with his new doggy friend. If you're looking for a big guy with an even bigger heart who will bring joy and excitement to your life, Samson might be the perfect match for you. How do I act when I first meet new people? Sampson is a friendly and outgoing boy who loves people and will happily greet everyone he meets with a wagging tail. Other tips and tidbits: Samson was born on 1/15/2024. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
