It has taken some time (picked him up 2/4), but California foster Barqs has started to let me hold him and pet him this week, and he finally allowed his RR collar to be put on! He is very suspicious of food/treats, we have to leave the room so he’s comfortable to eat, but every day he comes around more and more. He’s adorable!!Barqs arrived Wednesday and he is still decompressing, Barqs is a six year-old, 15 pound male Chihuahua, who came to us from a high kill shelter in CaliforniaAvailable dogs are met by pre-approved adopters ONLY after a match is made.The application is the first step.
