Meatball will be the joy of his owners life. He will need that owner who understands he has some insecurities that once his owner become aware rhey seem to not be as large as he makes them. He is a great dog, playful, loving, energetic and loves to lay in your lap. He’s a typical Jack. He will resource guard his person but when he’s put down on the ground, he won’t start a fight with others. If they start it, he’ll react. As we say in the south: 'If you don't start none, there won't be none.' He likes routine and is just waiting to be told what you want.
