To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Sweet, friendly, well-socialized, be sure to watch her video! Ava is a 3yo female German Shepherd / husky mix who was rescued as a stray in rural TN. Ava was microchipped but, when contacted, her owner didn’t want her back. Gentle, calm, low maintenance. Great with other dogs and fine with cats, living with a dog & cat in her foster home. Great with kids and gentle with the foster mom’s young nephews. Playful with moderate activity level outside and settles down quickly in the house. Good house manners. Housebroken but never crated because she doesn’t need to be. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with her people. When she first came to us, Ava had heartworms but she was treated without complications and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 50 pounds. AWESOME young GSD mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed.
