To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Dixie is a 1yo female hound/lab mix who was rescued from a gas station in MS where she had been abandoned. Friendly, well-socialized, happy young dog! If you look closely at her photos, you’ll see a little bit of “beagle” in her face. High activity level outside, loves to romp outside with the family’s dog and settles down quickly in the house with good house manners. Loves other dogs, great with kids (see video), not cat tested. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with her people. Estimated DOB is 8-1-23. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 35 pounds. Dixie is a happy young hound mix who will make a great companion (and jogging partner) for an active family with kids.
