Scout is a happy, laid-back boy who loves everyone—people, dogs, and even cats! He blended seamlessly into our home from day one, getting along great with our four dogs and cat. He enjoys running around our fenced yard and comes back inside when he’s ready. We haven’t needed to crate him, as he’s been accident-free during the day with regular potty breaks (every 3-4 hours while we’re home). He’s even starting to go to the door to let us know when he needs to go out! At night, he sleeps peacefully on a dog bed in our room. He is still working on potty training and a belly band would be a good tool for him. Scout is food-motivated and a great eater. He’s mostly independent but happily accepts cuddles and belly rubs when offered. When he gets excited, he lets out the cutest little howl—but only on special occasions! He’s a perfect mix of chill and quirky, with a little old-man spice if you try to pick him up. Scout would do best in a home without children, as he prefers a calm environment where he can relax on his own terms.
