About Mick We rescued this senior boy from Nashville Animal Control in 2022. He came to us heartworm positive and generally in pretty rough shape. Since then, he has been nurtured and cared for, brought back to health and happiness. He is now ready for his retirement home! Mick enjoys the company of people and enjoys spending time just laying around on the couch or a comfy dog bed, having big stretchies and loving his people. You truly won't notice, but Mick is actually deaf as well as blind in one eye. Neither of these things slow him down or make him difficult to handle. In fact, he has a hound's nose and navigates with it extremely well. Interactions with Other Animals He is really good with other dogs. Because of his age, his activity level is pretty low, so he may not be particularly interested in playing with young pups. He is not good with cats or chickens.
