8/25/2024Mia III is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Mia III! I am a beautiful 12-year-old brindle lady that is an owner surrender due to my owner going into a nursing home and family is unable to keep me. The kind people at the rescue promoted me to a member of the Silver Heart club so be sure and ask about it because there are a lot of perks for my adoptive family! I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I am said to be dog and kid friendly and currently live with kids ranging in age from 6 months to 17 years. I have never lived with a cat, so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am crate trained, house trained, know “sit”, and at night I sleep in my crate inside of the home. When the humans must be away and I am left alone, I sleep the time away. When outside I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I have also been known to jump a kiddie gate/fence before. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing with sticks, fruit, sleeping, and licking! My current owner says I am “a sweet soul who needs a loving home”.
