10/21/2024Spirit is an owner surrender looking for a new home.HI! My name is Spirit! I am a handsome 3-4 year old tri-color boy that is an owner surrender after being dumped with a leash and note attached to me and due to my current caretaker's work schedule and the resident dog not being welcoming to me, it is best I find a new home. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I am said to be dog friendly and like to follow the resident dog everywhere but he apparently doesn't care for it. There are no kids or cats in my current home so a proper introduction would be needed. When on leash I am reactive but am friendly other times! I am house trained, know basic commands, can catch treats thrown in the air, and at night I sleep by the human's bed on a rug. When the humans must be away and I am left alone I react fine and when outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car and trying to get the resident dog's attention and following him everywhere.
