Hi! My name is Zyta! I am a beautiful 3-year-old white boxer girl that will captivate you with my crystal blue and brown eyes! Not much is known about my history except that I came into care with my littermate, Warren, who is also available for adoption. We are best friends and would prefer to stay together! It should be mentioned that I am deaf, but don't let that shy you away from me because I am a smart girl that is willing to learn! Because I cannot hear, I need to be gently woken up when fully asleep so that I am not startled. I am a sweet, high-energy, vigilant and always on guard girl that loves to get affection and will seek attention when my brother is getting it so that I am not left out. I am house trained, crate trained, know a few command signs, and I pay more attention that you realize! I tend to think all food is mine and will counter surf to see what I can find, so I need help learning proper manners with that. I currently live with teenager kids in my foster home and although I am a bit more shy and timid than my brother, I still do well with all the neighborhood toddlers and small kids too! I can be 'a lot' for some dogs. I am very intent and stares at dogs which can be perceived as dominant, but when corrected I am very submissive and have done well with the resident dogs in the home. My biggest desire is to be adopted with my brother, Warren. Because I am deaf, my brother cares for me and I run to him for protection and comfort. We prefer to sleep in a big kennel together versus being separated. During the day we can often be found together. We play well and are the perfect pair! My foster mom says we could be adopted into a home with no other dogs or a gentle, male dog.
