This 2.5-year-old, 115-pound chocolate Great Dane is a spayed, heartworm-negative beauty who has been waiting for her forever home for eight months.Fancy came to us from a horrible cruelty case with several other dogs. We are so happy she was able to be brought into rescue because she is an absolute delight. This smart girl picks up basic training quickly and is a joy to work with. She’s great with other dogs and children aged 3 and up. She’s never met a cat, but Fancy tends to bond more quickly with women, though she warms up to men just as easily once she gets to know them.Fancy loves car rides, making her the perfect travel buddy, and she’s fantastic on a leash for those morning or afternoon walks. She has a bit of an athletic streak and can clear a 5-foot fence, so outdoor playtime should be a team effort with this fun-loving girl. She needs to be carefully watched and either be leashed or have a 6/7 foot privacy fence. This is very important!Adding to her sporty spice personality is her love for the water. She is getting brave, and we think she will be a swimmer if she sees other dogs having fun. For now, she likes to dip her feet in and stay on the steps and dip her head in to catch leaves.Fancy is ready to become a part of your family!
