LOCATION: Cibolo, TXDOB: 12/19/2023Meet Lady, the sweetest and happiest Great Dane being fostered in Cibolo, Texas. This laidback girl loves to hang out on the couch and gets her zoomies outside but is typically calm inside the house. Lady is very affectionate and will follow you to every room, making her the perfect companion.In the beginning, Lady showed some resource guarding with her dog foster brother, but it started to dissipate quickly once she realized there are plenty of toys and treats to go around. She loves all toys but seems to have a special fondness for stuffies. As a curious puppy, Lady will chew up other things and counter surf if left out, so it's best to keep things picked up and monitor her closely. She's not destructive, just learning what is and isn't a dog toy.Lady does amazing in her crate and it's best for her to be in it when no one is home or able to monitor her. She does bark a little when you leave the house, so it might be better for her not to be in an apartment. Lady is great with all humans, though she can be a little shy with new men at first. She warms up quickly and has shown zero aggression. This has also improved since she's been in her foster home.Lady is good with dogs, kids, cats, and even chickens! She's working on leash training and is very smart, picking up on things quickly. She's both treat and praise motivated. Lady is a Dalmatian Great Dane cross and leans more towards the Dalmatian side.Overall, Lady is a unicorn of a pup who would be a great addition to anyone’s home.
