Great Pyrenees (Medium Coat)
Description:
Meet Celia! She is an absolute treasure! She just goes with the flow. Born around February 2024, she is on the small side at 59 pounds. She could weigh around 75 pounds when she reaches full adulthood. Celia LOVES kids and is very gentle with them. She loves all people in general and she loves to cuddle. She is incredibly sweet. Celia just absolutely loves going on car rides and outdoor adventures. She is great with cats, great with other dogs, and she loves playing. She is house trained and knows some basic commands. She is crate trained, but does well sleeping and lounging without the crate as well. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy. 3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0 <p> SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
