~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Meet Harlen, an older sweetheart of a gentleman that is still learning what it means to be a dog. Harlen is great with other dogs and is not at all dominant. Other dogs also seem to put him at ease. He is still shy around people, but each day he gets a little more comfortable as he builds trust and feels safe. Because of his current level of shyness, a home without small children is recommended. He loves to go outside but is still working on associating outdoor time with bathroom time, so accidents sometimes happen. His favorite activity at the moment is finding a quiet corner to take a nap and there might one day even be a great snuggle buddy in there as well. He is not a picky eater, but he is a slow eater so separating him from other dogs at feeding time is recommended. Harlen is not aggressive and there really is a sweetheart waiting to get out. -- Where did he come from: He came to us from a puppymill. Adoption: ***** $400.00 ***** Weight: 7.10 lbs.
