Hi! My name is Birdie and I had a rough start in life. I was found along with my 6 siblings hunting for food along a country road in East Texas when we were just a couple of months old. A kind woman rescued me and took all of us to a vet because we had a very bad skin condition. Straydog came to the rescue when the Good Samaritan could not afford our care. All of us are now healthy and I am told I am very good looking and a perfect size at about 30 pounds. I love to play with toys and love to talk to everyone. I would prefer a home with older kids. I can't wait to find my forever home and give my new family kisses and hugs.I would love to meet you, too.
