Description:
Joey was transferred from the Paris Shelter to Legacy Humane Society after his loving foster mom had to travel for the holiday. Joey arrived at the shelter in horrible condition. He has since received amazing care with medicated baths and quality food and LOTS OF LOVE. Joey is a 6 year old,11 pound male Pom/Chi Mix. Joey has previous leg fracture that was not treated so walks with a slight limp or holding his leg up. This does not slow Joey down. Joey also tested slightly positive for heartworms and has been treated. Joey is crate and house trained and love his bed that is overflowing with toys and antlers. Joey travels well in the car. Joey is in a home with two larger dogs and doing great. Joey would do best best with older children due to his size. He loves his humans and wants to be near them. Joey wants nothing more to find his LOVING FOREVER HOME. Joey is an escape artist and needs a secure fence along with a watchful eye when doors are opening and closing. Adoption Fee 275.00 We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
