Meet Darla, a sweet young adult retriever mix, weighing around 40 pounds. Darla was found on the side of the road, trying to get into every car that passed by, while being chased by some male dogs. Thankfully, a kind-hearted person saw her and brought her into our rescue. Darla has the most incredible demeanor—she’s gentle, submissive, and gets along with everyone she meets. Whether it’s a family home or a single-person household, Darla would fit right in. She’s also fully potty trained and patiently waits until she’s let outside to do her business. Darla's adoption fee is $300, which includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. She tested negative for heart worms and is on a ProHeart 6 for six months worth of protection. She is also on Bravecto for flea/ticks. She’s ready for her forever home—are you ready to welcome this sweet girl into your life?! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
