Female Dog, German Shepherd Dog

German Shepherd Dog / Belgian Shepherd Malinois / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Please contact JoEllen ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Leia is an adorable 8-month-old German Shepherd blend who weighs approximately 30 pounds. Leia came in with an old injury to her hip so she had surgery to fix the issue and help her walk normally again. She is doing well but still has a little more work to do. Meanwhile she can still run and play like a normal active pup! She does well with other dogs and loves people! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references. Additional questions may be directed to [email protected]. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX.
