Meet Willie! Willie is a sweet and gentle Catahoula mix with a calm and loving soul. He came to us alongside nine other companions, ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will cherish him. Willie is the perfect blend of quiet affection and loyal companionship. Though he may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his sweet and gentle personality to shine through. Once he feels comfortable, Willie will happily lounge by your side, soaking up all the love and attention. He rarely barks and enjoys peaceful moments, making him an ideal companion for someone who appreciates life’s simple pleasures. Willie also gets along well with other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a home with furry friends. Due to being a bit unsocialized in his past, Willie will need patience and guidance as he works on his leash manners and learns basic commands. With time, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Willie will eventually turn into a confident and well-rounded companion. His adoption fee is $300, which includes his neuter, negative heartworm test, up-to-date vaccines, and prevention (ProHeart and Bravecto). Willie is currently located in Texas but is eligible for transport to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), or anywhere along the East Coast. Please note there is an additional transport fee of $225, and we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
