Female Dog, Boston Terrier
Boston Terrier (Short Coat)
Description:
Hi there! I'm Athena, a loving, cuddly girl who adores being close to both dogs and humans. I am a 13 year old lady. I'm very smart and settled in quickly to my foster home. Though I'm deaf, I know hand signals for "wait" and "come." Isn't that cool? I'm trained to use a dog door, crate trained, and leash trained. I get along great with seniors and other dogs. I'm a low-energy, gentle soul who loves to cuddle. I'm respectful of my people’s things, and would be fine if left alone loose, though I do like to hide my chews in various dog beds. I have Cushing's and require medication for that, but that doesn't stop me from being a happy, chill companion. I don't get left alone much, maybe two or three hours at most, and I sleep in bed with my foster mom. We haven't gone on any walks or car rides yet, but I'm ready to try new things with you. My ideal home is with someone dedicated to giving me a happy life and loads and loads of attention, especially in my “golden years.” If you think you can give me the loving home I deserve, let's make it happen! I know I can bring so much joy to your life! My adoption fee is $75, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) then my adoption fee is waived! Thank you for helping us in our rescue efforts!
