Hi! I'm Dan! I'm an approximately 5 year old, male, German Shepherd mix who weighs about 65 lbs. I was found off Eva Plance in Rockwall on 06/15/2024 with a friend and sadly never reclaimed. I am 100% a water baby! I should have been born a dog-fish because I love being in the pool. I'd love to find a new home to celebrate the warm summer months so I can splish-splash! I walk well on a leash and appear to be crate trained. RAC is confident that I will be house trained quickly once I am adopted. I came in with a friend but a meet and greet is encouraged if you have another dog in the home. I have been searching for my furr ever home for 151 days as of 11/13/2024 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and basic boosters. I did test heartworm positive but Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopters. If you have any questions about my heartworm treatment or heartworms, RAC staff is happy to answer any questions you have. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
