Is anyone missing an approximately 2 year old, female, Australian Shepherd/Red Heeler mix weighing around 35 to 45lbs? She was found off Horizon Road near Heath Crossing on 12/06/2024 and brought to the shelter on 12/07/2024. No chip, no tags, no collar. She will be on stray hold for 72 hours to allow her owners time to claim her. If you recognize her, please call the Rockwall Adoption Center at 972-771-7750 ext 2 so she can make it home safely. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
