Meet Jethro! Jethro is a 8-month-old Golden retriever/Rottie male that weighs 70 Lbs. This sweet boy is learning how to walk on a leash and would love a family that can work on building his confidence and work with him on basic training skills. He would be a wonderful addition to any family! He gets along well with other dogs and kids of all ages. He will need some work on jumping up for hugs but that is just his way to saying hello! He is fun, playful and full of so much love to give. Jethero doesn't appear to have a mean bone in his body and is more than willing to follow his owners anywhere! As always, if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to ensure they get along and that your current pet will accept him into the family. His adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccine, boosters to date and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
