Meet Sammy! Sammy is a 9-month-old Golden retriever/Rottie male. Sammy is 69 lbs. of pure love and loyalty! He is toy driven and you can usually find him with a tennis ball in his mouth. He loves to greet his humans with gifts and a big smile! He gets along with other dogs and kids of all ages. Sammy will need some work on basic training and commands. He is very quickly getting the hang of walking on a leash and RAC staff is confident all other training will come naturally. This bouncy ball of fur is ready to make any family happy and feel truly loved! As always, if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to ensure they get along and that your current pet will accept him into the family. His adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccine, boosters to date and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
