When Calliope came into the shelter as a stray on 8/24/23 we were able to make contact with her owner. Unfortunately, they werenât in a position to be able to care for her, so they did not reclaim her. Now this sweet girl is overflowing with love and just looking for someone to give it to! She has a lower energy level, and is very affectionate. Sheâll take all the human friends she can get! She loves toys and treats, and both make her very happy. She already knows how to sit, shake, and give paw on command and will happily do so as often as you ask. Sheâs a great leash walker who is best described as calm and gentle.
