Male Dog, Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever / Cattle Dog / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Robin Hood came into our program after a rescuer was approached right before the February freeze about this good (and beautiful!) boy chained up in a backyard. Miracles still happen, let me tell you; not only were we allowed to bring him inside before the dangerous wind chills hit, we are also able now to find him a loving family <3 Incredibly, Robin H. came to us crate- and house-trained, and because he is super smart and a people-pleaser he is now leash trained! From the start he has been a sweetheart in his foster home; we are lucky that Robin craves affection and is treat-motivated. He is energetic enough to make a wonderful exercise companion but low-key enough to be a chill couch potato buddy. He loves, loves other dogs and plays well with others. He is too interested in cats, alas, but he will be wonderful with kids of all ages. I suspect that he is fully or almost fully grown at 7'ish months old, so he might be a smaller sized fella (currently about 38 pounds). If you have any questions about Robin Hood or would like to meet this blue- and brown-eyed sweetheart of a dog, contact foster mom Kristi at 281-797-6280, and thank you so much for wanting to add a rescue baby to your family!!
