Sometimes people just assume that an LGD breed wants to be just that, an LGD. That was the case with Buddy. When he was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter, it was thought that because of the area he was in, he must be a working dog. And maybe at one time he was, and maybe the reason he was not with any flock or herd was because he didn't want to be a working dog...that was found out after he was adopted from the shelter. Buddy was not happy with sheep and goats, Buddy wants to be with people! He loves to play with other dogs, especially another big floof! He loves kids but older ones would probably be better since he does prefer a bit calmer home. Buddy is great on a leash, is house trained. He isn't the biggest fan of getting in the car but once in he does ok. Buddy is UTD on shots and neutered. He loves being outside exploring and needs a fenced yard to keep him safe!
