Nora is a 2-year-old terrier mix and is a playful and loving girl who can get easily overwhelmed and not manage her emotions as well as she wants to. She startles easily and becomes reactive when she’s nervous/afraid. She is working hard to learn to self-regulate when she gets too excited or startled, so she’ll need a home committed to building her confidence with patience, love, and positive reinforcement. She is crate and muzzle trained so she is learning so quickly to be her best self. She loves to play with confident and boundary-reinforcing doggos similar in size as sometimes she just gets so excited and can forget her manners. She can be aggressive with larger female dogs. She is food and praise motivated so training and enrichment games are always fun. She loves to cuddle with a trusted human. Her favorite place is in the arms of her human and will quickly convince you she’s your darling baby girl. Nora is a gorgeous and funny terrier who will steal your heart. Nora has come a long way since becoming a CAWS dog, so her potential is amazing. It took her some time to get used to humans again, but she loves to love and wants to build trust with dog-savvy humans. Because she’s still learning, it’s best if she goes to a home with older children and confident and easy-going dogs. She's an amazing pup who is looking for her forever home.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
