Hey there, I'm Gavin! I am a handsome boy and silly creature that will surely capture your heart. I've got a spunky energy and love to cuddle. I weigh about 55lbs and I just turned 2 years old. The shelter called me a Dutch Shepherd based on my coloring, but foster mom decided to do a DNA test on me, because I seemed like such a mystery! We found out I am a mix of the following breeds...German Shepherd, Catahoula, Australian Shepherd, Golden Retriever and (drumroll please) POODLE! That's right. I'm a doodle. But seriously tho - I am actually *quite* low shed. So that's kind of cool. While I can entertain myself quite well, I am seeking someone who can help me become the best version of myself through training. My foster mama is a trainer and she has done so much work with me - I am super duper ready for my forever family! I've already learned lots of great things AND I've been able to do some fun doggy sports, like Barn Hunt! I'm pretty good at everything. I am happy with and without other dogs in the household, and I've been great with canine friends both large and small. However, I am not much of a friend to other cats or birds. I'm great with all the human friends, including children - they are so fun! I am truly happiest when I can embark on daily walks and spend time with my loving family.
