Female Dog, Greyhound

Greyhound / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Spot!Spot is a lively and spirited 2-year-old Greyhound mix with a short white coat covered in playful black spots and warm nutmeg-brown eyes. This medium-sized girl is all about adventure and fun, with a tail that wags non-stop (even if it’s just a little stubby nub)!Personality and Traits:Spot is full of boundless energy and is always ready to run, play, and explore. She comes when called, is easily trainable, and is very food motivated, making her an excellent choice for someone looking for a dog that loves to learn. Her food motivation and eagerness to please mean she would excel in activities like obstacle courses, agility training, or obedience training. Spot gets along well with other dogs and people and is a natural socialite, especially when she’s with her best friend, Gypsie. While Spot can be a bit of an escape artist and may bark at strangers at the door, her affectionate nature shines through as she seeks fun and companionship.Special Considerations:Spot is part of a bonded pair and must be adopted together with Gypsie. They share a close connection and become stressed when apart, so they’re looking for a forever home that will keep them together. Spot’s love for freedom also means she needs a secure space to play off-leash and extra training to curb her escape-artist tendencies and door-dashing habits. Being that she is also a short-haired, white dog, she cannot be exposed to the sun for too long without dog-safe sunscreen or clothes as she is prone to sunburns, especially around the face and ears. Ideal Home:Spot would thrive in an active household that can offer her plenty of exercise, like running or biking, and engage her with training and play. Her high energy and friendliness make her great for families, including those new to dog ownership, as long as they’re ready for her lively personality and the commitment to adopt both her and Gypsie. A home with patient, loving owners who can train and bond with her will help Spot feel happiest. Why Adopt Spot? With her lovable nature, trainability, and zest for life, Spot is sure to fill your days with joy and excitement. When you adopt her and Gypsie, you’re not just gaining two best friends; you’re welcoming a duo that will bring endless laughter and companionship to your home.
